Afghanistan, Pakistan Agreed To Jointly Fight Terrorism

MEP: Afghanistan and Pakistan authorities hosted by the UK agreed on a joint mechanism to fight against terrorism.

Afghanistan’s Mohammad Hanif Atmar, presidential security adviser and Sartaj Aziz Pakistan’s foreign affairs advisor Prime Minister of Pakistan on Thursday (March 16) had a joint meeting hosted by Great Britain.

Sartaj Aziz said at the meeting that Pakistan wants a stable and peaceful Afghanistan and is ready to resolve all issues with regard to the regional peace and stability.

The meeting in London between the Afghan national security adviser and foreign affairs adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan hosted by Great Britain’s national security adviser on Afghanistan and Pakistan, common issues and other security matters were also discussed and reviewed.

The report comes as Torkham border has been blocked by Pakistan since past few weeks to protest some terrorism attacks in the country.
