Afghanistan Confirms 110 New COVID-19 Cases in Past 24 Hours

KABUL (MEP) – Ministry of Public Health reports another 110 cases of coronavirus recorded over past day in the country, bringing total number to 1939.

MoPH spokesman Wahidullah Mayar attending a press conference today Wednesday, April 29, said that most of the infections are recorded in Capital Kabul.

According to him, new cases are recorded in Kabul (58), Kandahar (15), Paktia (12) and another Ghazni, Laghman, Nangerhar, Takhar, Farah, Helmand and Kunduz provinces.

Mayar declared that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country reaches to 1939.

Of that number, 228 recovered and 61 patients of the virus have died in the country so far.

Mealtime, Ministry of Public Health asks people to take the lockdown and medical orders seriously.
