Afghan Army Kills 27 Rebels in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 27 militants were killed and six others were wounded, Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on Saturday morning.
MoI issued a statement which states that the operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Urozgan, Logar and Helmand provinces in past 24 hours.
According to the statement, Afghan forces have also detained 16 insurgents during the operations.
A number of weapons and ammunition were also seized, the statement further added.
