Afghan and Pakistani Envoys to discuss Disputes of the two Nations in Islamabad

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The representatives of Afghanistan and Pakistan are set to discuss on disputed issues between the two nations in Islamabad for two days.

The discussion will be held today due to an informal meeting conducted jointly by the “Institute of Strategic Studies” of Afghanistan and “Pakistan Institute of Peace”.

Staff delegation consisting of several members of parliament, representatives of civil society, political parties and researchers of the Institute of Strategic Studies of Afghanistan.

Afghanistan Strategic Studies Institute published a statement said that the aim of the talks is a new version in the relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan, and to address the issues and points of agreement between the two countries.

Pakistan delegation headed by Khurshid Mahmoud Qasori, former foreign minister of the country will be present at the meeting.

The two sides’ representatives are scheduled to meet with the Pakistani officials including, Sartaj Aziz, Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Tariq Fatimi, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs.
