Abdullah Leaves Kabul For Tehran Today

KABUL: (MEP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah is expected to leave Kabul and arrive in Tehran leading a high-level government delegation on Monday.

AbdullahKABUL: (MEP) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah is expected to leave Kabul and arrive in Tehran leading a high-level government delegation on Monday.

The three-day official visit of CEO is expected to led in holding talks with Iranian officials on a number of issues including relations between the two countries, the Chabahar port, which India invested $200 million USD in, to boost trade relations between the three countries.

Few accords are also expected to be signed between the two sides, CEO’s spokesperson told Azadi Radio on Sunday.

Afghanistan, Iran and India are working closely a deal on the trilateral transit corridor expected to be finalized this year.

During the visit, Abdullah will also discuss the border security issues with the Iranian officials.
