A Girl, Woman Killed Violently In Jawzjan
MEP: A woman and a girl were brutally killed in Jawzjan province after the wave of violence against women and girls in the capital.
Abdul Hafeez Khashi, head of Jawzjan Police Chief Security told the Middle East News Agency the two separate incidents took place in the town of Sheberghan.
He said a sixteen-year-old girl was killed after hanging herself in Yamaq Tanka village last night inside her residence.
“The girl was not educated and the main reason for hanging up is also not clear and investigation started”, Khashi added.
According to the source, the body of the girl has been transferred for investigation to the forensic.
Jawzjan Police Chief Security Officer added that in another incident, a female police commander was killed by her husband in the village of Mirwais Mina.
Khashi stated that the incident took place last night and her husband also fled the area after killing his wife.
Khashi entitled the motive behind the killing of the commander “domestic violence” saying further investigations started in this regard.
The violence against women in Jawzjan comes as during a recent three-week incident in capital Kabul were sprayed acid on women’s faces and yesterday, a girl was burned by his brother in Kabul.
