20 Wounded in Khost Wedding Blast
KABUL (MEP) – At least 20 people, including women and children were wounded after a hand grenade ripped through wedding party in Alishir district of Khost province.
The incident took place at 9:00 Saturday night in Wares area in Alishir district, Khost police spokesman Adel Haider told MEP.
“An unidentified person threw a hand grenade at a packed wedding party held in a courtyard,” Haidari further said.
According to him, 20 people, including women and children, were injured in the incident, one of whom is in critical condition.
The Khost police spokesman says the investigation has begun.
No one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
