IED Bomb Leaves Two Egyptian Forces Dead In Sinai
KABUL: (MEP) Two security personnel were killed and another wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in the Egyptian of Sinai Peninsual, local sources said Sunday.
The attack was an improvised explosive device (IED) went off on Saturday in Karm al-Kwadis area of the town of Sheikh Zuweid, Egypt’s military spokesman, Brigadier General Mohammed Samir wrote on his Facebook page.
“An army officer and a soldier were killed, while a non-commissioned officer was injured” Samir said.
The development came only a day after an explosive device targeted a police patrol car south of Rafah, killing two Egyptian police officers and injuring four others.
