KABUL: (Middle East Press) Speaking to Al-Mayadeen TV network, Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shalah described the movement’s relations with Iran as very good and said Tehran’s backing for Palestine is unwavering.
In response to the question that whether Iran changed its policies towards resistance movements after nuclear agreement said: Iran’s (supportive) stances towards Palestine do not wary according to different conditions but they are based on a strategic standpoint. He went on to say that the issue of Palestine has a special status in the Islamic Republic of Iran. Since the 1979 victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the Islamic Republic has always backed the cause of Palestine and the oppressed Palestinian people’s struggle against the Zionist regime.
He also said that Israel is the biggest threat to Muslim Ummah. Imam Khomeini and Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution always emphasized on liberation of Palestine as a duty of Muslims.
