KABUL: (Middle East Press) Abu Muslim al-Turkmani the number two man of the terror group ISIL Takfiri militants who was the Abu Bakr Al-Bahjdadi deputy has been killed, ISIL’s spokesman confirmed.

The official announcement by ISIL’s Spokesman Abu Mohammad al-Adnani was made on Tuesday night, declaring that Abu-Bakr Al-Baghdadi’s right-hand man has been killed.

The spokesman did not disclose any further details and the government of Syria has not commented regarding the report either.

Fadel Ahmed Abdullah al-Hiyali, nicknamed Abu Muslim al-Turkmani, was born in Tel Afar in Nineveh Province. He was an Iraqi Army Colonel under Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Al-Turkmani was said to have been the head of the ISIL’s military council. He reportedly led the council of six to nine military commanders who directed the ISIL’s military strategy.

In his recorded audio message, the spokesman of the terrorist group called on Muslims to launch a “holy war” against Russians and Americans over what it called their “crusaders’ war” in the Middle East.

“”Islamic youth everywhere, ignite jihad against the Russians and the Americans in their crusaders’ war against Muslims,” al-Adnani said.”

Western media claim that the terrorist leader has been killed in a US airstrike in Iraq, while Russian sources stress that Turkmani has been killed in a Russian airstrike in Syria, FNA reports.
