21 Armed Taliban And 5 Daesh Terrorists Killed In Afghan Operations

A statement by the Ministry of Defense said Tuesday the operations were launched in the past 24 hours in Ghazni, Logar, Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces.

At least 12 mines were also discovered and defused during the operations, the statement added.

The statement further adds that the Afghan Air Force of the National Army conducted an air raid in the Nawa district of Ghazni province, killing 14 armed Taliban.

Elsewhere, seven armed Taliban were killed as the security forces launched a military offensive in Charkh district of Logar province. One was also captured and different types of weapons and ammunition were seized.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of National Defense says that as a result of air strikes on the positions of Daesh terrorists in Kot district of Nangarhar province, five of its members were killed.

According to another report, security forces during operations against insurgents in Shah-Walikot district of Kandahar province, discovered and defused 12 different types of mines.
