15 Suspects Arrested On Heroin Production In Herat
MEP: As a result of the Afghan National Army (ANA) operation in Kohsan District of Herat province, 15 people were arrested on charges of heroin production.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement Thursday that the operation was launched on Wednesday evening.
According to the statement, 11 different types of weapons and a machine with two kilograms of heroin have been obtained during the operation.
The convicts have confessed to their crimes and are being held in the police custody for further examinations.
