15 Armed Taliban Killed, 8 Injured In Baghlan Operations
MEP: The Afghan security forces during past 24 hours, killed at least 15 armed Taliban and injured 8 others as result of military operations in Baghlan province.
209th Shaheen Corps by sending a statement on Monday, states that armed Taliban have suffered heavy losses during operations in the village of Surkh Kotal, in the provincial capital of Pul-e-Khumri.
Mohsen, a shadow judge of the Taliban in Dand-e-Ghori is subject to the wounded, the statement added.
The development comes as air and ground military operations are underway from three days in the areas of Dande Ghori and Dande Shahab Din of Pul-e-Khumri aimed at clearing the areas of insurgents.
Meanwhile, citizens of Baghlan province, called on security officials who are leading the operations in the province to continue operations until complete clearance of militants.
