13 Security Personnel Released From Taliban Captivity  

13 security forces released from Taliban prisonMEP: The press office of the General Command 808 Spin Zone announced Tuesday in a statement thirteen security personnel from Kata Khel checkpoint of Kunduz province have been released.

Another member of security forces still remain in Taliban captivity, the statement said.

“The released soldiers had been surrounded by the armed Taliban and never listened to their frequent warnings, suddenly the opposition with military uniforms vehicles and Afghan flag on their vehicles entered the checkpoint and detained the soldiers with deception,” the statement added.

Officials in Kunduz said they will use all means to release the remaining soldier.

The released soldiers are reportedly in stable condition.
