125 Afghan Asylum Seekers Return Home From Germany

index6KABUL: (MEP) A group of 125 Afghan asylum seekers arrived in Kabul from Germany Wednesday morning with their relatives holding banners of “Welcome Back” in Hamid Karzai international airport.

The citizens returned home after German officials announced that they would send back many Afghan migrants.

Some of the returnees say their frittered was a mistake and after spending a lot to get to Europe, have realized that their country is the best place to live.

More than 150,000 Afghans applied for asylum in Germany last year as Europe face unprecedented influx of migrants.

The German government covers the cost of return as well as small reintegration support in cooperation with International Organization for Migration, German embassy in Kabul in a statement said.
