103 Militants Killed In Afghan Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) killed at least 103 anti-government insurgents in the latest military operations across the country, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Sunday morning.
The ministry’s spokesman General Zahir Azimi said the operations were carried out in 15 provinces of Afghanistan in past 24 hours.
Azimi added, in addition at least 97 wounded and 10 others detained during the operations.
However, Azimi did not provide details regarding the exact location of the incidents.
At least 17 Afghan security forces were also embraced martyrdom in the operations, according to Azimi.
Afghan military have seized a number of weapons and ammunitions from the militants during the same period of operations.
