10 Terrorists Arrested In Southern Kandahar
MEP: The National Directorate of Security (NDS) have arrested at least ten terrorists during two separate operations in southern Kandahar province.
A statement by NDS was released on Wednesday saying six terrorists have been arrested in a special operation of Afghan troops who were involved in many destruction attacks.
The terrorists were involved in attacks on security checkpoints and convoys in Kandahar and Zabul provinces and a number of weapons and ammunition were obtained from the militants, the statement added.
According to the statement, the National Security officials last night as a result of operational activities in the ninth and tenth police districts have detained four terrorists.
The terrorists were also killing government officials, elders and influential people in Kandahar city.
The detainees have confessed to their crimes.
