1 Dead, 3 Wounded In New York Shooting
MEP: One person has died and three others wounded in a shooting at a concert hall in New York City’s Union Square.
The shooting on Wednesday night around 10:00pm happened during a music performance at Irving Plaza as the crowd panically ran for cover outside the concert venue.
A man, aged 34, was wounded in the chest at around 10:15pm local time and was reported to be in critical condition. Another man, 33, suffered a shot to the stomach, and a woman, 26, was shot in the left leg, officials told NYC-based affiliate WCBS.
All were taken to Bellevue Hospital Center.
The identity of the fatality has not been disclosed.
Investigations are underway and the cause behind the incident is yet to be determined.
