Bazars closed and problems increased in Imam Saheb

In the war which entered its fifth day in Imam Saheb and the security forces and armed Taliban are fighting against each other, local people`s homes are being used as strongholds and clashes going on inside village.

Security officials also confirm that the reasons behind slow operations and delayed Taliban defeat are local residential homes used as strongholds by Taliban.

Five day clashes has closed the Bazars in Imam Saheb, people are facing many challenges, the families are said to have run out of food staff and access to Bazar is impossible.

Talking to the Middle East Press, Quraishi, the Imam Saheb city governor, said due to the long clashes between the security forces and Taliban and the continuous attacks of Taliban, Imam Saheb Bazar has been completely closed so people having finished their food staff are worried from where they can buy their food items.

He added beside this big problem, more than 2000 families in Aqa Bai, Bakhmal Kucha, Now Abad and the other villages have displaced and are under a sever condition.

“Taliban to take control of the city center every often during the day time launch operations; For example, last night since Iftar, breakfast, till the time of Traweeh Prayers they had been fighting in three separate operations when they were defeated by the security forces.

Emphasizing on establishing a good security and pushing the Taliban back, he called for more backup forces.

Based on the recent details released by the security officials regarding the war in Imam Saheb, so far 10 armed Talibs have been killed and 5 other wounded but about the last night clash no details have reported yet.
