US And Australian Professors In Taliban Custody Seek Justice
MEP: Two kidnapped American and Australian men in the armed Taliban custody urged President-elect Donald Trump to release them as soon as possible, a video released by the group showed.
The video indicates two Australian and American hostages who were kidnapped last year from Sanatoryam Road in Kabul city.
American Kevin King and Australian Timothy Weekes were professors at the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) in Kabul.
They were abducted when heading towards the University by unknown gunmen in August 2016.
In this video, two hostages have asked the new US president to help them release based on a prisoner exchange with the armed Taliban.
The US and Australian officials did not comment on the report so far.
