Two Killed, Three Wounded in Helmand Roadside Blast

d149bfe66bcf7828620f6a7067003360KABUL: (Middle East Press) A roadside bomb blast in southern Helmand province has claimed two lives and three others sustained injures, officials said Saturday.

The incident took place on Saturday in Shor Shorak area of Marjah District when the civilians vehicle was heading towards Nawa district that land over the bomb, said Shah Mahmood Ashna, spokesman for the provincial police headquarters.

Ashna added that police officials have soon arrived at the scene and those wounded in the blast were shifted to the civil hospital where their health conditions announced stable.

There were no immediately claim of responsibility for the blast however Taliban insurgents are frequently using Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) against security forces and civilians.
