Three Civilians Shot Dead in Samangan
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least civilians were shot dead by a group of armed burglars in Dwab District of central Samangan province, Saturday night.
Colonel Mohammad Baqir, police chief of Samangan province says a civilian vehicle was traveling from Rohi village to Jah Kalal when it came under the attack of armed robbers.
He added the burglars first asked the driver to stop the vehicle but the driver did not stop and continued to drive.
Baqir added that the robbers then sprayed indiscriminate fire on the vehicle leaving three civilians killed and one injured.
The attackers fled the area after the murdering but the police chief said that an investigation has been started to arrest them.
