Terrorism to Threaten All Region If Not Prevented In Afghanistan: NSA

imageKABUL: (Middle East Press) Mohammad Hanif Atmar, National Security Advisor met Thursday with Indian ambassador to Kabul Amar Sinha.

In the meeting, national security advisor of Afghanistan said relations of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with India were friendly and based on regional cooperation, adding that national unity government has clarified that Afghanistan wanted friendly relations with regional countries in the framework of independent policy.

Pointing to threats of terrorism in the region, the country’ national security advisor said the consequences of terrorism would be dangerous for the region if it was not be prevented in Afghanistan,, stressing on equipping and empowering Afghan national security forces to surpass terrorism in the country.

Mohammad Hanif Atmar further said that Afghanistan has always asked the world and friendly countries in the region to help Afghanistan in enhancement of capabilities of the country’s national security forces.

Afterwards, the Indian ambassador to Kabul Amar Sinha expressed happiness over visit of Afghanistan national security advisor to India, saying that he believed that both sides would agree on all issues included in the agenda during the visit.

The Indian ambassador to Kabul further said necessary and official preparations had been taken for the visit.
