Taliban Captures Several Villages in Kunduz, Killing Dozens of Civilians
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least 14 civilians have been killed or injured after Taliban rebels have captured as many as 80 villages in northern Kunduz province on Monday night, according to local officials on Tuesday.
Mohammad Yousuf Ayoubi, head of provincial council of Kunduz said that the incident took place after Taliban rebels launched attack on Khan Abad district of Kunduz province two days ago and started clashes with residents in the district.
Ayoubi added that following the clashes, hundreds of families have also forced to flee their homes.
However, security officials have not commented regarding the incident so far.
