KABUL: (Middle East Press) One dead and up to 12 others sustained injuries after a suicide car bomber targeted a convoy of troops in Helmand province on Sunday afternoon.
The attack took place in Lashkargah district in Bolan area around 5:00 PM, according to officials.
Early reports suggest that a policeman were killed in the attack but officials later announced the deceased was a civilian.
It was not however cleared whether the 12 injured were all civilians or whether police or troops were also wounded.
No group including the Taliban militants claimed responsibility behind the incident so far.
