Reaffirming On Important Role Of China
KABUL: (MEP) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani yesterday evening held a meeting with Yu Jing, the ambassador of China to Afghanistan.
A statement from Presidential Office (ARG) issued Sunday states Ghani once again stressed that China has a valuable role in Afghan peace talks.
China’s ambassador to Afghanistan said Chinese leadership imagination about Afghanistan has been positively changed and in addition the bilateral relations, political, economic, security and public relations expanded.
While his country’s cooperation in various areas as requested by the Kabul government to start the construction of railway China-Afghanistan, assured that the document collaboration in this regard soon will be signed.
“As a member of the quadrilateral peace talks, I would support the Afghan government’s efforts for bring peace in the country and end the war,” Jing added.
Meanwhile, President Ghani praised China for its support to Afghanistan and called on for further cooperation in various areas, especially in the peace process.
This comes as the third round of the Quadrilateral Coordination Group (QCG) was launched yesterday in Islamabad.
