KABUL: (MEP) Chief Army of Pakistan General Raheel Sharif is coming Kabul for negotiations with Afghan leaders regarding the resumption of peace talks with Taliban.
Pakistani delegation is visiting Kabul with all sincerity, Pakistan’s military spokesperson Deputy General Asim Bajwa said in front of journalists at a social gathering.
However, the heart of Asia in meeting the commitments were made by Islamabad to launch peace talks and now it is expected to implement.
Afghan peace talks after the death of Mullah Mohammed Omar, the Taliban leader was suspended and later insecurity and bombings in Afghanistan were also rampant which darkened relations between Kabul and Islamabad.
Several of the Taliban was another factor for the suspension of peace talks, but the government of national unity says that Kabul is ready to talk with any group of enemies who are calling for peace.
More than two weeks have passed from the Heart of Asia conference but the action of Pakistan’s commitment to peace talks has not been seen.
