‘Terrorist Attack In Kandahar Cannot Blemish Relations Between Afghanistan And UAE’
MEP: President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in addition to condemning the bombing incident in Kandahar city, has ordered relevant agencies to diligently and carefully investigate the attack.
A statement by Presidential Palace (ARG) said, the blast took place last night in Kandahar governor’s guest house, a number of high officials in the Afghan government and the United Arab Emirates were killed and wounded.
Enemies of stability and progress in Afghanistan by carrying out such terrorist acts cannot destroy the trust and strong will of our people in the prosperity and progress of the country, the statement added.
President Ghani said the incident cannot blemish the relations and cooperation between Afghanistan and the United Arabic Emirates.
Meanwhile, the president has ordered the relevant authorities to scrutinize the terrorist incident in the guesthouse of the Kandahar governor.
The attack comes as a number of high-ranking officials of the world, especially the United Arab Emirates, United States, Britain and a number from other countries also slammed the Kandahar attack and suicide attacks in Kabul and Helmand provinces.
