NDS Arrests 11 Insurgents Of Jundullah In Kunduz

KABUL: (Middle East Press) The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has arrested at least 11 insurgents belonging to Jundullah network group following a military operation in northern Kunduz province.

A statement released Wednesday by NDS states the insurgents were arrested in Dara-e-Sof area of Khan Abad district while they were collecting Zakat (almsgiving) from the people.

The terrorist group affiliated with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) the primary militant group in Pakistan, according to the statement.

A number of military uniforms as well as small and heavy weapons were also discovered during the operation.

NDS press release further states that one militant was killed during the gun battle.
