Mohaqeq Congratulates Eid To Afghan People

MEP: Executive Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Mohaqeq on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr voiced a congratulatory message for all the people of the country.

“This year has been the deadliest and dullest year in the history of our country that I remember”, he said.

Mohaqeq stressed that in such circumstances, wishing “Eid Mubarak”, peace and prosperity for a nation floating in the blood of their loved ones does not seem much justified and practical, “it is more than a wish that it’s achieving is less likely to remain in the short term”, he added.

Mr Mohaqeq further emphasized that in solidarity with the families of the martyrs, the wounded and disabled of the whole nation, especially the families of the recent attacks victims, therefore I congratulate this Eid combined with the sufferings to all the brave and courageous people of my country as well as my deepest condolences and wish them continued stable and peace.

“I need to remind you that the pain and suffering our patient nation endure is not only the outcomes of militants and extremist mass crimes under the names of Taliban or Daesh (ISIS/ISIL), but a sustainable threat that has plunged our country almost half a century is the result of numerous factors, some of which factors are noted below.”

1 Too greedy ambitions of some neighboring countries seeking development, who want the blood of hundreds of thousands, displace millions of people and destroy a Muslim country with thousands of years of civilization, for their country against an opponent to be its regional strategic depth.

2 Global and regional strategic interests that its intelligence agencies are ready to spend hundreds of billion dollars to have control over regions and the countries that have economic importance, security and geo-political military project and to launch a proxy war that caused mass murder and destructions in countries such as Libya, Yemen, Syria and Iraq is part of a global tragic scenario and the oppressed Afghanistan also burns in the same fire of global players.

3 Growth and spread of Salafi-Wahhabi stream of thought flows in the region and the world that this inhumane so-called Islamic faiths with Takfiris and the help and cooperation of the international Zionist war have provided hemorrhage between Muslims that the Zionism with the help of global intelligence agencies that offer financial, military, logistical and transit services for them with termination or failure of the mission in Iraq and Syria, the risk of swamping much of the nationals of these extremists of Central Asia are in Afghanistan through Central Asia that serious conflicts in the eastern provinces is an example.

4 On the other hand, they have internally embittered the lives of our people who are active in two fronts against the country.

-The first front extremist fighters that their mental intellectual structure according to war has been fledged that they think about nothing else but war such as Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists and the armed Taliban who are working day and night to kill people and from the outer circles mentioned above are supported.

– The second front of some venture and melee are out of power elements that are active in the nation as a fifth column of the enemy that either justify inhumane acts of Daesh and Taliban as their religious faith or wait until their comrades’ extremists carry suicide bombings in parts of the country and create human-tragedy to use the blood of martyrs in laying stonewall of their government or to take political revenge.

In such circumstances the political summary that has launched flood of intrigue to break up Afghanistan. The only way to save the country from internal and external aggression is unity and harmony between the government and political parties of the country as well as all the great people of Jihad not to let their country fall out in the hands of extremists that loses thousands of martyrs and displace millions.”

In the end, Mr Mohaqeq urged the National Unity Government (NUG) to defend the state’s honor and business as well as creating jobs and employment, better education and service delivery in order to preserve their promises and commitments.
