Landmine Explosion Kills 5 Civilians in Kandahar

KABUL: (Middle East Press) Five people have lost their lives and three others were injured in a landmine explosion exploded in southern Kandahar province Tuesday morning.

According to security officials, the incident took place around 10:00 AM in a border area between the districts of Arghastan and Marouf.

The blast occurred after civilians vehicle ran over a landmine in which five dead and three wounded.

The injured were taken to hospitals and there isn’t reports about their health conditions so far.

No group including the Taliban militants has claimed responsibility behind the attack.
