Landmine Blast Kills District Governor Including Three Policemen in Takhar
KABUL: (Middle East Press) A landmine explosion in Takhar province killed Abdul Hamid Haqjo, the governor of Ashkamish District along with three policemen Sunday morning.
According to officials Haqjo was visiting security check post when his vehicle exploded by a landmine blast.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack so far however such incidents are mostly carried out by Taliban insurgents.
