Killer Of Eight Members Of Family Sentenced To Death In Nangarhar
KABUL: (MEP) The local court in eastern Jalalabad city, the provincial capital of Nangarhar province has sentenced a man to death who had shot dead eight members of a family in the province.
About a month ago, a number of gunmen who were guests at a residence in Behsud district of Nangarhar province, fatally and without reason opened fire on eight members of the family.
The deceased included one man, two women and five children who had been shot in the head.
However, the Judge has sentenced to death one of the perpetrators of the incident on Sunday in an open court.
Nangarhar judge said the man previously pleaded guilty and there is evidence to prove the charges on which the warrant is issued.
Security officials and police in Nangarhar have arrested five suspects including the person who has been sentenced to death for their alleged involvement in the killing.
