Deputy Governor of Ghazni province, Mohammad Ali Ahmadi has confirmed the report and said one civilian is still in the custody of Taliban along with a vehicle.

He added that the man with Taliban might be a government official or Taliban had pre-information about his travel.

Taliban infrequently establish check posts on this way and harass people, said Ali Ahmadi.

According to Mohammad Ali Ahmadi, the area where the kidnapping took place yesterday is a Taliban area.

He said several incidents of hostages and robberies have taken place on this way and the destructive activities continue.
