Kabul Suicide Bombing, Claims 4 lives, 18 Wounded
KABUL: (Middle East Press) UPDATE: At least four people were killed and 18 others wounded after a Vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) was detonated at the main entrance gate of the Kabul International Airport.
According to the eyewitnesses in the area the target of the suicide attack was a convoy of armored vehicles apparently transporting government officials.
Wahidullah Mayar, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has confirmed the attack.
A woman and a child were also among the victims, Mayar said.
Taliban militants have claimed responsibility for the attack.
