KABUL: (Middle East Press) A number of gunmen have kidnapped over 20 civilians in southern Zabul province on early Saturday, 1TV reports.
The kidnapping took place in Shah Joy district of Narak area of Zabul province on highway to Kandahar when armed men stopped several vehicles and forcefully took them hostage.
Local officials have yet to comment on the report.
According to reports, most of the abductees belong to Hazara minority.
There were no immediately claim of responsibility behind the kidnapping.
