France Agreed to sell Surveillance Equipment to Qatar

KABUL: (Middle East Press) According to Raialyoum, in the meeting at Doha, Emir of Qatar asked Francois French president to sell audio surveillance devices to Qatar and provide Qatari intelligence service to hear phone conversations of Qatari citizens and Qatar’s neighboring countries as well.

In this meeting Sheikh Tamim signed contracts for 24 Rafale fighter jets, worth up to €6.3 billion, he also appealed for surveillance equipment which received positive response.

It is worth mentioning in this regard some important telecommunications towers are scheduled to set up in areas of Qatar, so Qatar can monitor the UAE and Saudi Arabia as well. A group of experts from the French intelligence service will be visiting Doha soon to assist them.
