Fahim Rahimi Introduced As Acting Director For National Museum

KABUL: (MEP) Sayed Mossadeq Khalili Deputy Minister for Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture introduced Mohammad Fahim Rahimi as the acting director of the National Museum of Afghanistan to the employees of the said institution here yesterday, according to the reports.

Praising the activities of the former director of the national museum, the Deputy Minister for culture said that the employees of the National Museum have great responsibilities of preservation and protection of the country’s precious treasures that represents Afghanistan’s historical and cultural background.

“The acting Director of the National Museum has been appointed on the basis of the proposal of the Ministry of Information and Culture with approval of the presidential palace to help improve the routine works”, the Deputy Minister quoted in a report, adding that the National Museum staffs in close cooperation with the new acting director, who was the employee of the institution as well, should lead and further improve the activities.

Meanwhile, thanking the authorities of the Ministry of Information and Culture for appointing him as the in charge of the National Museum.

Mohammad Fahim Rahimi said that he will lead his programs in according with the ministry’s policies and in close coordination with museum employees.
