Explosion In Jawzjan Kills One, Injures Two
KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least one killed and two wounded after an explosion rocked Shebarghan city of northern Jawzjan province Monday morning, local officials said.
The incident took place after the explosive materials which was placed in a vehicle detonated in a market place leaving one dead and two others injured.
The target of the explosion was apparently a commander of the Afghan Local Police (ALP) forces Ghafar Khan, Provincial police Chief Faqir Mohammad Jawzjani said.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
