Eleven Armed Taliban Killed In Jawzjan Clashes
MEP: At least eleven armed Taliban were killed and several others wounded in clashes with security forces in northern Jawzjan province, the 209 Shaheen Corps announced Saturday.
According to the source, the military operation under the name of ‘Zafar 10’ was launched in Mardiyan district in the past 24 hours.
In addition to the deaths of the militants, 11 Kalashnikovs (AK), one RPK and 8 motorbikes have also been seized by security forces.
The report comes as on Thursday last week during an offensive of Taliban attacks on security posts in Painjgana and Aaqcha districts, the displacement of over a hundred families had been notified.
