MEP: In the third day of ‘Shahin 13’ operation in the districts of Nangarhar province, eleven members of Daesh (ISIS/ISIL) terrorists have been killed and 14 others wounded.
The press office of Nangarhar province released a statement saying the operation was launched three days ago in the districts of Kot, Achin and Pachiragam of the province.
The statement added the operation was conducted last night in the village of Bandok, Woch Kot, Laghar-Joye and Dari-Sari.
No casualties on civilians and security were reported during the operations, according to the statement. Seven bodies of Daesh were left out in the area.
As a result of these operations, 13 villages from insurgents, have also been cleared, the statement noted.
According to another report, Nangarhar police chief’s press office said three men suspected of affiliation to the terrorist group and five others charged with various offenses in different parts of the city of Jalalabad, were arrested.
