Bus Crash in China Leaves 10 Dead

a6082f80-ce58-4752-be16-01f0b04bca43KABUL: (Middle East Press) At least ten people were killed after a bus carrying twenty-six South Korean passengers has reportedly fell off a bridge into a river northeast China, officials said.

The officials added that the incident took place in Jiangxi province of Ji’an city on Thursday.

The bus was on its way to its destination of Dandong, a city that borders North Korea.

At least seventeen others were injured following the bus crash and they have been taken to the hospital, however, no reports were given regarding their health conditions.

The driver of the vehicle, a Chinese citizen, also died in the incident, state broadcaster China Central Television reported.

An investigation has been initiated into the incident and the motive behind the crash is still unknown.
