Bomb Attack Hits Nangarhar Mosque Killing, Injuring Over 60 Worshipers
MEP: At least three people were killed and 62 others wounded in a bomb attack targeted a mosque in Roodat district of eastern Nangarhar province on Friday afternoon.
According to security officials, the blast occurred at 1:30 PM in Hesarak area.
Ataullah Khugyani Nangarhar governor’s spokesman says that the embedded blast detonated in the pulpit of the mosque.
Those injured transferred to the hospital.
Police started investigations into the crime.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
