ANSF Kill and Injure 67 Taliban Rebels in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces killed at least 51 Taliban rebels and injured 16 others in their latest military operations across the country in past 24 hours, Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Monday.
MoD said that the operations were conducted in Paktia, Kunar, Kapisa, Urozgan, Daikundi Nangarhar, Maidan Wardak, Kandahar Urozgan, Ghazni, Zabul and Helmand provinces.
A foreign insurgent and a commander of Taliban were also among the victims, the Taliban commander was named as Mohammad Wali, MoD added.
A number of weapons and arms were also seized during the operations in the same 24 hours.
