ANSF Kill and Injure 114 Taliban Insurgents in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which 48 Taliban insurgents have been killed and 66 others injured, Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on Tuesday.
MoI said that the operations were conducted in the past 24 hours in Maidan Wardak, Paktiya, Bamyan, Takhar, Faryab, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Helmand Zabul and Oruzgan provinces.
According to MoI, Afghan security forces have also arrested 10 rebels during the operations adding that a number of heavy and light weapons were confiscated.
The MoI did not release details regarding the casualties of the Afghan National Security Forces.
