ANSF Kill 29 Taliban Militants in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces launched military operations across the country in which at least 29 Taliban militants were killed and 16 others injured in the past 24 hours, Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday.
The ministry issued a statement states that at least nine Afghan soldiers have also been killed in militant fire and landmine explosions, however, the exact location of the incidents were not released.
The statement adds that the military operations conducted in 12 provinces.
Afghan security forces have also arrested six suspects during these operations, according to the statement.
