ANSF Kill 23 Taliban Militants in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 23 Taliban militants were killed and 34 others injured, Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday morning.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Defense states that at least seven Afghan soldiers were also killed in roadside landmine explosions and militants’ fire.
The statement added that the operations were carried out in seven provinces Kunduz, Baghlan, Sar-e-Pul, Heart, Helmand, Oruzgan and Kandahar, in the past 24 hours.
Two roadside bombs which were placed by militants in Parwan and Kandahar provinces were also defused by Afghan security forces.
