ANSF Kill 21 Taliban Militants in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 21 Taliban militants have been killed and 17 others have been wounded, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) announced on Wednesday.
MoD said following a statement that the operations were carried out in five provinces of the country Paktia, Faryab, Urozgan, Helmand and Kabul in past 24 hours.
The statement adds that one Taliban militant has been arrested during the operations.
A weapon depot and 10 motorcycles belonging to the rebels were also destroyed in the operations.
