ANA Kills and Injures 133 Taliban Insurgents in Military Operations
KABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Army has launched fresh military operations across the country against the Taliban insurgents in which 61 of the insurgents were killed and 72 others wounded, said ministries of defense and interior on Monday.
The Ministry of Defense issued a statement says at least five afghan soldiers have also lost their lives due to landmine explosion and insurgent fire in past 24 hours however, the statement did not release the exact locations of the incidents.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior said following a statement that the operations were carried out in Kandahar, Zabul, Urozgan, Kundoz, Badghis, Kundoz and Badakhshan provinces.
A number of different types of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were also seized during these operations, said the ministries.
