TalibanKABUL: (Middle East Press) Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) launched fresh military operations across the country in which at least 41 Taliban have been killed and eight others wounded, the Ministry (MoI) of Interior announced on Sunday.

MoI issued a statement on Sunday states that the operations were conducted in Nangarhar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Faryab, Sar-e-Pul, Kandahar, Zabul, Oruzgan, Maidan Wardak and Ghazni provinces.

The statement adds that the operations were jointly conducted by Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army and personnel from the National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency in the past 24 hours.

At least 19 other insurgents were also detained during the operations.
